Celebrating the Beauty of Mother Earth

Celebrating the Beauty of Mother Earth

I rose from my soft bed and kicked off the sheets. For an unidentified reason, I felt a joyous aura of exuberance. It was a suspense no longer. My parents and I decided to go to Indo American Hybrid Seeds for a day of nature and I was effervescent, being a lover of Mother Earth’s creations.
It was 22nd April, Earth Day, which was the reason of my exuberance.
We were greeted by a lush canopy of leaves, formed by the most beautiful of trees that housed many little creatures. A squirrel rushed by our foot and onto the largest one. A little bird atop of a faraway tree nestled in her nest. Sweltering heat, the glorious tall trees protected us from while we observed the aesthetic creations of our planet. Pure air, cool breeze, magnificent trees, tiny but lush shrubs and the wondrous wandering creatures all surrounded us, celebrating Earth Day with pure joy.

After admiring the beauty of the entrance, we moved along the pathway that was lined with pots on the left and greenhouses on the right. Next to the vibrant pots were more plants kept on a deeper platform. Bonsai plants with many different flowers were kept along with other colourful plants that needed high amounts of sunlight and heat. We entered many greenhouses and looked at the various plants; from flowering to bushy ones and the workers tending it with utmost care.
When we went to the greenhouse with other types of cacti and plants, I perceived the spiky plants, them being one of my favourite plants.

All the greenhouses used high technology and saved natural resources. They harvested water and hung light bulbs to control temperature. The plants were surely happy with the care. They were given exact temperature they needed, fed with clean water regularly and were rooted to manure-rich soil in pots that allowed them to spread their roots out.

As we walked along different pathways, an area that had a natural canopy shading it. The place contained pots hanging from some metal structures, seasonal plants and some lush shrubs. Remarkable skill of the workers was visible further ahead, when we saw a dexterously trained plant. Never had I ever seen a plant that had created such beautifully natural designs. The workers had trained the plant to grow in a beautiful pattern. It was one of the best plants I had ever seen.
We were soon forced to go home due to the torrid heat and went to a small building to bill our items. Being a plant lover, my dad bought tools and manure for the plant filled balcony of ours. My mom and I looked the diverse types of decorative pots, indoor plants, decorative garden statues and some tools. As seeds are also available, I went to look at the packets of seed.
From hybrid petunias to tasty tomatoes, one could select from to grow. We picked up a packet of tomato seeds and left for our car.

Upset, I was to say goodbye but realized that my day was well spent in the thick of nature, breathing in pure air of goodness for Earth day.
